Earlier this month, I traveled to Pittsburgh for the annual March for Babies. The signature fundraising event for the March of Dimes, March for Babies has raised more than $2 billion nationally to benefit babies. More than seven million people participate as walkers, volunteers and sponsors in more than 900 communities nationwide.
The Pittsburgh event is one of the best in the country. The March is well attended, media in the market cover the event extensively, and the event benefits from incredibly strong partners. The Pittsburgh Pirates support the event in a number of ways, including allowing the walkers onto their baseball field as part of the route.
The March for Babies is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to families and babies. When participating as a group, the March for Babies creates a special camaraderie and enhances morale and company loyalty. When participating as a company, you’re associated with a respected organization and a great cause. Find a March for Babies event in your local area by visiting marchforbabies.org.
