For many professionals throughout the country every day is relatively similar. The commute, the coworkers, lunch breaks and even the work itself.
I had lunch with a friend this past week who is an intern for a financial company. He enjoys his work and when I asked him what he did the past week, he quickly explained his standard everyday routine. He then asked me about my experience at Crossroads, and I found myself talking nonstop. I realized I had so much to share because every day is exciting and different. Every single day comes with new tasks, new challenges and new ideas. I never know what projects I’ll be asked to help with, challenges I will face or what new concepts will be introduced to me.
I am lucky to work in an industry that prides itself on flexibility and the ability to take on any challenge. I look forward to meetings and new projects to create original ideas, plans and events together. Working in the communication field allows the opportunity to work with people you would never have met otherwise, brainstorm events that have great imaginative potential and push everyday boundaries.
No two days are the same. For that, I am grateful.
