This past Friday morning, Aug. 17, a crowd gathered to watch the seven best skating Carhops in the nation. The national finals of the SONIC Skate-Off took place at SONIC Drive-In’s headquarters in Oklahoma City.

The seven finalists were chosen from more than 300 submissions to compete against each other in front of SONIC employees and local media. The finalists get another chance to show their skating flair at SONIC’s National Convention in September, where the winner of the 2012 SONIC Skate-Off will also be announced.
